Well, it sounds like you want "mail-merge" technology, which a word processor 
is 
going to fulfill better than a banded report writer will. However, how long are 
the 
letters, and do you need for end-users to change font properties within the 
block of 
text?

If your answers are "less than a page" and "no", then I'd say Dabo's 
reportwriter has 
a high likelihood of working for you.
