It sounds like the permission error is the problem. Web Update was
able to update the IDE files, but apparently cannot update the main
dabo files.
When you installed Dabo, did you do so as the same user you are now?
If so, shouldn't you be able to update it as that same user?
I'm pretty rusty with my Windows sysadmin stuff. Can you tell us what
version of Windows you are using, and what permissions are set for the
c:\dabo directory and subdirectories?
