Yes I run the class designer and press the open saved class and go to where the file.cdxml is and click on open and then class designer closes down ... gone. So I tried opening class designer by clicking on OK rather than open saved class and then opening the file.cdxml but it didn't appear. What am I doing wrong? ... and thankyou for helping me with this. I really appreciate it.

You run the Class Designer, and when it starts up it presents you with a dialog that has a button near the top that says 'Open Saved Class'. When you click that button, you get the file selection dialog, and select the saved .cdxml file. But after you click 'OK', nothing happens.
