Interesting I really thought all of that was fixed some time ago.  I guess I 
have to setup a MsSQL server again.  Are there any MsSQL version issues??  
IOW's is using SQL5 ok for testing or some other version would be best?

Does everyone really want to use pymssql or would they rather have the ODBC 
working.  I have ODBC working but I did not complete the changes required for 
the connection editor etc..  Also I have only tested it on windows.  I had 
intended to complete it over the xmas period but decided to take a mental 
health week off instead.
