Yep! that's what I used recently.  I just hard coded the connection string (in 
the dbODBC.py) and it worked very well with Dabo.  Of course I did not test 
everything but I was able to read without issue.  I am concerned about 
writting because I haven't done any real testing.  And of course only tested 
on windows.
