A Reflection on Today's Scripture:
"Your Faith Has Restored You to Health"
Jesus always reminds us of what really matters. Certainly bodily
health is desirable. But more important is bodily wholeness that
comes only from spiritual health. The woman in today's Gospel story
came in search of miracles, believing that she would find them. If we
come to the Lord in faith in search of God's help, we too shall find
it. Each of us receives the healing that restores us to bodily
wholeness. For some that may mean bodily health, for others mental
health, for yet others spiritual health. But do not mistake, every
one of these healings is a miracle that passes human words to
express. Jesus is overwhelmingly generous to each person who looks
for Him.
