A Reflection on Today's Scripture:
Human nature never seems to be satisfied. As we read about the
Israelites complaining and griping to Moses and Aaron, we see a
perfect example of this. This people, led out of Egypt from the
bondage of slavery, now complaining about what was lacking in their
diet!
Our God is so gracious, so generous. If we can be patient just a
little longer, He never lets us down. We must be persistent in the
prayer of the psalmist to greet God with thanksgiving and sing psalms
to Him, not only in the good times but when our lives seem to be in
chaos.
And like Peter, let us NOT tell the Lord what should be, or what He
should do, but be able to trust Him implicitly in every aspect of our
lives.
Most loving Jesus,
help us to trust, help us to be patient;
help us to become more and more like You,
submissive to the Father! Amen
