A Reflection on Today's Scripture:

Hail Mary, full of grace!

How often we repeat the greeting of the angel to our Blessed Mother.
Unlike Mary, whose feast we celebrate today, we were not preserved from
the stain of original sin.

In the first reading from Genesis, God asks Adam "Where art thou?" or as
we would say today...."What's happening in your life today Adam?" The
question is always a good one. How are we doing in our relationship with
God, with our families, our communities and our co-workers?

In the gospel of Luke we are reminded that we, because of the stain of
original sin, must "be watchful, pray at all times so that we are ready
to come and stand before the Son of man." (Luke 21:36)

               Holy Mary, Mother of God,
                    pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
                    Amen.
