There have been many instances where humans have been hit too. A couple
of years ago, in Maine, a young mother was at her clothesline with white
mittens on and a hunter shot and killed her as she was hanging her
laundry outside.
I'm putting orange flags around my entire property line as well
as dressing in bright orange when I go out. We have deer coming into
our yard on a daily basis to eat the apples off
the trees and some hunters are nuts when it comes to hunting
them down!
