Pat, it must be something in the air....I also have an 'uninvited'
house guest. A neutered male Weimaraner decided to come
for a visit as his "parents" seem to be misplaced? I posted
signs alllll over, have looked in all the neighborhoods all around
and his "parents" are stubbornly refusing to be found. This guy
is really quite good though a bit stubborn. Living with Danes
has taught me how to deal with that. lol Anyway, this guy is not
a typical "rescue" sort - he's reallllllly FAT! Bill thinks someone
dumped him - I don't know, he's really a good dog, housetrained,
goes in a crate easily and gets along with all the other dogs!
Willow is doing all she can to let him know he's a true interloper....Dax
loves having another boy to pounce on and play crazy with, Granddogs
both seem to enjoy him AND be annoyed by him because he's still
bigger than they are - just like those Dane grrls! Needless to say,
life here is very interesting at the moment - can't imagine what the
neighbors were thinking yesterday afternoon when they were all out
in the yard howling in the middle of the day!?!? The Weim just sat
there looking at them and turning his head one way and then the
other....he just didn't understand what they were all doing. LOL
