Heather used to be on this list. Is there anyone in California that
could help her?

Thanks!

Fellow Dane Lovers!

Jax and I need your help and your Holiday Spirit during this Christmas
Holiday! We live in San Jose, CA and we are looking for some wonderful
family to danesit Jax during the Holidays.

You see, we all thought that we were going to Texas for the Holidays
this year and even made arrangements for Jax to have a special crate
built for the journey. Well, as it turns out, the airline now says that
Jax & his crate are too large and that since it is during the winter and
the Holiday season, they will NOT allow him to fly to Texas. They are
worried about the extra weight, the size of the crate and the fact that
he would be in the main cargo section which has limited climate
control. They never mentioned the cargo section, when we made the
reservations. :o(

Well, our backup dane sitters and bestest friends are having puppies the
week of Christmas. Yea puppy breath! However, it's just not convenient
for them to have a 2 year old intact male mantle boy to be brought into
the mix during that time. It's the Mom and the puppies time you know.
As a fellow preggers woman, I totally empathize! :o)

So now we are in a real dilemma, this Christmas is really important to
the family because a) my folks have just moved back to Texas and b) I am
4 months pregnant with our first child. The entire family is very
disappointed that Jax will not be able to join in the festivities and I
can't bear to put him in a kennel during the Holidays. So if anyone is
willing to take in Jax for the Holidays we would be eternally grateful.

We are willing to send you $250 in advance, provide all of Jax's food,
treats, toys, toys & presents for your babies, x-crate, pillows, etc. We
are leaving for Texas on December 23rd and are returning on January
3rd. If you are within 4 hours from us, we can drop off Jax the night
of December 22nd and we would come pick him up the evening of the 3rd.

Oh, let me tell you about Jax. He is a 2 year old intact mantle boy.
He is such a love and simply adores children. He's easy going, he loves
other dogs, but he is intact so we might be concerned if he were to be
with another intact male. I will be happy to provide you a list of
references on his character, so you don't have to take this Mom's word
for it! :o)

Thank you so much for reading this long note and if anyone is willing to
open their heart and their home to my baby during the Holidays, please
