But my concern is that I wasn't aware that darcs *does* require
putty--that's precisely the question I was asking.  My impression was that
darcs works fine with mingw openssh.  I don't want to force users of mingw
openssh to rename their openssh scp.exe to pscp.exe.  That would be silly.
