Yes, I made up my mind it was time to make a new stable release because of this very bugfix. Unfortunately I've been short on time and will be so for one more week. I have that patch and some more ready to push to the stable repo. I'll get back with a mail with more detailed planes (just in time for when enough people has gone away for easter...) Those with spare time that wants to help can send patches with change log entries for features and fixes in stable since 1.0.6.
