Ok, thanks. I will upgrade now, and you may ignore the rest of this e-mail. I personally would still fix it, but you are probably going to say that whoever doesn't want to go through the pain of upgrading to a ghc >=6.4.1 can as well be told to go and use the binaries. Good point, too. So I guess it boils down to a trade-off between the work it takes to accept the work-around patch and the work it takes to make all those n00bs shut up and fix the problem themselves. :-) Let me know if this makes you want to include the patch after all. cheers, Matthias
