Well, yes, of course.  I don't know the details of what is needed as
well as you.

My point is simply that there are lots and lots of people who know how
to code UIs in one or more of the frameworks I mentioned; there are
existing applications; all of the frameworks provide ready made
redisplays, often graph analysis algorithms, etc.  If you provide the
generic protocol for exporting that information in a consistent and
easily parsable way, the UIs will write themselves.
