I'm glad to hear, that TortoiseDarcs is mentioned on this list again. I was spoiled by TortoiseCVS and TortoiseSVN, and when I finally noticed that TortoiseDarcs was out there, I finally made the switch. It is a very good release, I have not found a single bug. I have tried to contact the developers, but their old mailing addresses seem to be dead.
For a while I have being wishing for a 64 bit version. Explorer extensions compiled for 32 bits do not work with 64 bit. There is fortunately a workaround: TortoiseDarcs works from the devstudio file open dialog boxes. I remember seeing that feature mentioned in TortoiseCVS manual, I never could have believed I would use it daily. And now when darcs 2.0 is out, it is time to test if they work together or not. Just yesterday, I downloaded the 40 MB source. I also downloaded the 80 MB darcs repository, but I can't get it to work. "darcs repair" complains missing pristine. Any ideas? The build requires cygwin, I just downloaded it. I'll try to compile it later. I expect it to be a big hassle, but who knows, maybe this time it's not. If anyone is working on the project, please keep posting messages to darcs-users for now.
