Thanks. I can confirm it's the date format thing.
I could reproduce the bug when trying to annotate /COPYING.
I've pushed a patch to the darcsweb repository to fix it. With it, I've also
been able to browse /GNUmakefile history with more than 500 changes (so
my explanation wasn't entirely correct: 50 patches are pulled for each
page, but multiple pages are well supported).
If you try it, please let me know.
