Some questions: 1. Why is darcs slow and is it in general or at a specific task? Is it the algorithms or the language?
2. Is darcs competing with git or they different kind of users? 3. Why is performance slow on Windows and more exactly what needs to be done? Improved algorithms or perhaps C-optimization? 4. how man lines of code is darcs in total and is it all Haskell or some C(or some other language) as well? On Mon, Aug 11, 2008 at 1:30 PM, Eric Y.
