Hi Salvatore! Thanks that got me up and running. I still find it somewhat irritating, that darcs does not handle interactive questions (like 'trust this host key?') well. In my case I wondered why darcs get hang around after I installed the putty executables as you said. The reason was that it wanted to aske me if I would like to include the host key into known hosts. This was hidden by darcs. I think this should be filed as a 'bug'...
