Hmm, I don't have the same repo around any more (because I updated
afterwards), and it doesn't happen any more. So either it was transient
(worrying) or a hidden dependency on something that's now committed (not
a huge problem). I'm committing this now, but obviously this is
something to check first if the buildbots throw up any problems.
