Hello everybody out there!
I am discovering Darcs and I find it just great, really great indeed!
I have done some internal test and I really like it. For instance, I use
it for my LaTeX projects. For now on, I am preparing a presentation with
Beamer. As I have a co-author who work with me, I have decided to create
a public repository for this document.
Using SSH, I have created a path on a server of mine, you can find it at
this address:
http://le-bars.net/yoann/repos/MIT-2010/
Of course, the directory is owned by my user on this server.
So, what I want to do now, is to push my local repository onto this
server. I have gone into the local directory of the project (where I
already have created a Darcs project without trouble) and I have typed:
$ darcs push x...@le-bars.net:/var/www/yoann/repos/MIT-2010/
x...@le-bars.net's password:
x...@le-bars.net's password:
x...@le-bars.net's password:
withSignalsHandled: Interrupted!
OK. So let's try:
$ darcs push yo...@le-bars.net:yoann/repos/MIT-2010/
yo...@le-bars.net's password:
yo...@le-bars.net's password:
yo...@le-bars.net's password:
withSignalsHandled: Interrupted!
It cannot be:
$ darcs push yo...@le-bars.net:http://le-bars.net/yoann/repos/MIT-2010/
darcs: Pushing to yo...@le-bars.net URLs is not supported.
You may be able to hack this to work using darcs_apply_yo...@le-bars.net
No, it is not!
What I am sure, is that I do a really stupid mistake and that the
solution is probably somewhere to be found in the documentation, but I
have not been able to find it – maybe because, as English is not my
mother tongue, I have misunderstood something. Anyway, can anybody help
me into solving this?
Kind regards.
