I thought I have tried it. Anyway, I have done 'darcs initialize' on the
server. Then, I went back to my laptop and here is what happened:

Indeed, my laptop is running Ubuntu 10.04, and uses this version of
Darcs:
$ darcs -v
2.3.0 (release)
My server is running Debian Lenny and uses this version of Darcs:
$ darcs -v
2.0.2 (release)
So there is a difference between the two versions. Do you have any
idea to solve this problem in a simple way? I mean, there probably is a
compatibility mode, but this time I simply do not know where to find the
information.
By the way, thank you Petr for ssh-agent tips, I will use it as
soon as I sort the version trouble out.
