I heard a horrible rumour that the sewerage being processed by Rand Water is
not being processed properly before being pumped into NF. The source was
fairly reliable, as they have a farm adjoining NF. What is your take on
that? I'd love to ride at NF, it's a great venue, but not at the cost of my
health!

No it was not an Omni-Motion event - ours is taking place on the 6th of
December and I hope to see you there.

Any experience on 29ers?

Any good / bad opinions?

Nice summary; nice links: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/29er_%28bicycle%29>
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/29er_(bicycle)

I'm quite surprised that there's a lot of recommendation to ride them from
around 5'5" and taller; I thought only the 6'5" crowd would really
benefit...

Personally I won't go for it just yet (still have a couple of GT 26" frames
left to brake... I mean RIDE) but I have a tall, strong buddy (recent ex
A-bunch roadie) looking a new bike; needing (in my opinion!) confidence
downhill and single track.

Gordon: Any experience?? The dude's even taller than you ...
