No no no... Thank YOU's for Riding with us!!! And thank YOU's for understanding when we get very Narfy about sticking together!!!!!
And I must say, Thank You Q.T. for often coming and giving me feedback as to how the group is handling pace... sometimes she will come and tell us to slow down even when frowned upon by some riders... But they don't understand, its all for the safety as you can see how quickly bad things can happen...... We got our lesson early on in the D&D days and we know how the keeping together / safety in numbers prevented a possible really nasty situation... But that being said, We can only continue to pray that we have safe adventures in the dark..... cos this is mos africa... 2009/1/8 Donald Klopper <[email protected]> > We must stay positive > ... like after hijack attempt on the Smuts House road > > We must stay positive > ... like after Oupa Gert's bike was stolen at Induna > > We must stay positive > ... like after all those car windows were broken at the old D&D mall and > laptops and stuff stolen > > We must stay positive > ... like after Oupa Gert's was assaulted and his bike taken in Waterkloof > > We must stay positive > ... like after Roberto and Jan's bikes were stolen at Sabie > > We must stay positive > ... when the sweet lady Mathilda was brutally assaulted in Irene > > THANK YOU HARDY > ... for always ensuring that we ride together > > THANK YOU HARDY > ... for stopping and turning back when you miss someone > > THANK YOU HARDY > ... for riding with me at the back when I struggle > > I know it's not just for the good company that you did it...! > > > On Thu, Jan 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM, Carine Reyneke > <[email protected]>wrote: > >> i dont think it's disturbed people >> i dont think they even though anything else than: >> >> ... there's a bike. i want it. oh, darn', someones riding it. oh, well, >> better get rid of her then ... >> ... and then go sell the bike for ... what - R50? >> >> any ideas on how to make our playground safe? >> cos if we declare this as a no-go area, then in a few months there'll be >> more no-go areas, and soon there'd be nothing left? >> or just make the ride-groups bigger, and if you can't get 4 mates, then >> don't go cycle there? >> or just stick to bikeparks and groenkloof?? >> >> > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DarkAndDirty" group.
