OK, OK, I admit it!
... The longest ride I've done on a tandem was 95km on tarred roads and that was tough already. No cold weather, no rain, no mud, no punctures, no drivetrain failures, no brake system failures, no navigation issues, no injuries, no cramps, no lack of support, no sleepmonsters ... I can go on. I now know I can ride for 5 days, but I don't know about going on and on with painful injuries ... that usually forces me to give up, where others continue. Serious hats off to the riders of the FC (even the "short" R2R ...).
