... no, this is not a report...

I just wanted to tell you if you weren't there, you missed out... it was
AWESOME.

Some rain, some mud, some sleep, LOTS OF fun.

And we were in the only category that I remember that had a team that got to
the podium for a 4th place finish (someone must have spoken to the
organisers because that 4th placed team was a bit of a special team, being a
D&D team and all...).

Not a single flat, no mechanical issues, no injuries.

I only flew over the handlebars ONCE, which in 66km of riding isn't all that
bad... memo to self: don't assume the front wheel will pop out of the muddy
hole before hitting the bridge.

Our team did 50 laps (actually 49 since we got an extra lap for doing more
than 7 laps at night ... AS IF WE WOULDN'T...).

So the "real" distance was 406.7km assuming 8.3km per lap...

3rd placed team was Red Ants, and they did 58 laps... and they only lost out
to 2nd place due to a 10 second missing the 12h00 end-of-race clock.

Thanks Adri for organising the team.

WOW.
