My favourite part was on my first lap just before the forest single tracks
when the group of playful horses started running with me next to my bike ...
I assumed it happened to everybody else until I started asking around ...

Or maybe my favourite part was finally being able to catch some race snakes
on the Sunday morning's laps... the fact that they turned out to be
seriously tired solo race riders is, of course, completely not the point.
