Just do it ONCE... just for the bragging rights.... A colleague of mine once WALKED to the office after his car broke down and he didn't want to wait for the wife to come back home... 20km...
Another (non "athletic") colleague once commuted between Kempton Park and Centurion by bicycle... the round trip took him around 6 hours... but he did it!! (If memory serves he also never did it again)... I remember a LONG time ago we had a Saturday morning "commute" ride from Pretoria to Kyalami... was a "scouting" ride or something with a good group of D&D peeps. Was an AWESOME ride...
