Hey oupa Gert if your dedication is really admirable and appreciated. I am pretty sure with the warmer weather numbers will pick up again. . Maybe experiment with shorter routes, up to 25km with 1 long 30-35km per month - I think it may be a timing issue that participants would like to be back by 9 - 9:30 to still be able to have a snack, drink and chat and/or be home by 10. . I would be tempted to make the intro even a bit shorter 15-20km for the real newbies. . From a frustration point of view for Trailmeister use meetup.com or facebook indicating that at least 4 persons accept for the ride to take place. This is the ride report of the ride that was not. For only one rider even the urban bash is not advisable.
That was the report; now the question: Are you still interested in the D&D rides? And if so how often and how far? Going on the last few months it seems that the Intro ride is reasonably popular and attended well. The rest don't happen or end up in urban rides because of the small number of riders. Please don't feel attacked; that is not the purpose of this message, but please give your honest feeling about the rides. Since Hardy's work has been preventing him to lead every week, I have tried to keep things alive just because I enjoy it so much, but if it is not working then let it be...
