Finish kaput kla is here "beyond economical repair" :-) I have finished kaput kla'd two manitou FORKS - a Black (coil) and Minute (air). One had a stanchion ding, one and the covering rubbed off the stanchion. Both similar to repair as to replace. :-(
Both awesome shocks before they were damaged... The black was actually more plush, if shorter travel and slightly heavier.
