This is in lens correction. And this describes the combination camera-lens used to shot the picture. The definition of the lens is correct with the focal range. i.e. SIgma 17-70mm f2.8 [etc.] if focal range, appears; 17-70mm (it appears as a tooltip while the mouse hover the lens field If you have a prime lens, this is the same thing but not in the case of a zoom.
