Hello,
Some time back I went through the process of generating the profiled
denoise data for the K-1.
I incorporated the data into a local version of noiseprofiles.json which
I have been using in my local builds to see if it is OK.
Thus far the profiles appear to be working OK, but I really haven't had
to use ISO values much above 1600.
I have made an archive of all the generated data, plus my
noiseprofiles.json file which is available on Dropbox, from here
<https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1glhvwljx1xt6p/export.tar.gz?dl=0>
Note that at the time I generated the data Darktable wouldn't accept the
data in the format generated, so I found it necessary to modify the
format to that in my version of noiseprofiles.json file.
Could those who know about this business please take a look at the
curves, and the data in the included noiseprofiles.json to see if it is
a satisfactory set of data, and if OK incorporate it into Darktable?
Not one response to this.
Your story on profiled denoise at
<http://www.darktable.org/2012/12/profiling-sensor-and-photon-noise/>
describes how to go about generating the data then says "...send your new
presets to one of our mailing lists".
Is this not the preferred method anymore?
Cheers,
