> Fuji makes a very good mirrorless cameras with his X line and the new X-E1 is quite interesting; I suppose in the future Fuji will grow up very fast. One of the best specific is that they don't use a Bayer matrix, with better results,
That's open for debate. Please don't disturb the trolls. ;-) > but the bad news is that Darktable doesn't > support any non Bayer file format. When you'll implemented this > compatibility? This has been answered a few times already: "darktable will support it as soon as someone wants to implement and maintain the code." Implementing support for non-bayer sensors would require someone to implement the functionality and take on the responsibility of maintaining it. None of the darktable developers have a non-bayer camera at the moment. Supporting non-bayer sensors would take a considerable amount of coding and testing, so it is not currently on an active todo-list. That said, new contributors would be more than welcome. :-) Christian PS: I actually like Fuji. I'm a former Fuji S1 pro user, and I loved that camera. ;-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
