that fontconfig stuff is probably a minor thing in that library, but
that rawspeed stuff might be quite bad for your system as it happens
for every raw file you load (cc-ing klaus, who has intimate knowledge
about that side).

is that a fairly recent git checkout you're  running there? i think
that would make it rawspeed svn v500.
