Yes, I also think that we should try again this year. We need to try to be focused on key features that would help us to advance. Some of my ideas are: 1. Better separation between core and UI (probably not good for GSoC, as it is more a dirty task of going through all the code) 2. Improve the snapshots: allow them to scroll together with the main image, store the history of each so the development of the image can be switched to each snapshot, ... 3. Make a comparison view in lighttable: show two images in parallel, allowing to scroll at the same time. 4. Make a print view.
