Hi guys,

usermanual wise we have chapter 1 fixed now and Ammon is close to
finalize his work on chapter 2. As you've probably seen, Jo has just
announced a string and feature freeze for darktable 1.2. Taking the
string freezes of previous darktable versions as a reference, this will
give us another few weeks to finalize the usermanual. Ideally we would
be ready still within March.

Therefore I think it's best now to split work a bit. Assuming that the
people who volunteered are still willing and in the position to do some
proofreading, I took the freedom to propose a split:

Rob: chapter 3 up to and including "Basic group"
Ammon: chapter 3 "Tone group" till "Correction group"
David: chapter 3 "Effect group" and "Examples"
Mark: chapter 4 and chapter 5

If you don't have time or don't feel fine with my proposal, just drop me
a mail.

There still remain chapter 6 and chapter 7 which are rather short.
Colin, could you have a look at them?

Here finally is the current status which should be your starting point:

Best wishes and thanks a lot

Ulrich
