You are aware that this is the developers list, which is meant to manage the 
development of darktable, and not some public broadcasting channel that is 
intended to acquire new users? We have this open to the public so that anyone 
interested can learn about our reasonings and progress. Therefore it has to 
stay the way the intended users (of the list) want it.

We do have a website and we also have a forum there which no one uses. You are 
barking up the wrong tree.
