About the other points :
The first goal we have, for now (and for 1.4, I think) is to have something
working, as stable as possible with circle and curve only. Once this
achieve, new shapes will be implemented, especially a "hand drawing"...
That said, I think the curve tool can cover most of the use cases, even if
it's sometimes painful to define the shape.
