Please forgive the post if this is already possible and I simply don't know the
keystrokes. I would find it helpful when using drawn masks to have an option
for the feathering to begin at the border and move inward, rather than outward.
Even with a small feather zone, I have noticeable halos when (for example)
adjusting the exposure of a lighthouse as distinct from the surrounding sky.
Feathering inward would allow me to precisely trace the outline of the
lighthouse and then create a natural looking adjustment curve for the
lighthouse proper.
