Howdy Darktable devs,
application icons are shown in larger sizes on today's systems than in the
past. Within GNOME we present apps in 96px+ size and with the new Software
app, we'd like to present Darktable in the featured section[1][2]. The
current app icon is lacking though, so I took the liberty and redesigned
both the high resolution version and the smaller sizes. I initially planned
to keep the rainbow colored aperture blades, but for the app icon the glass
reflections and refraction really have an appeal I had to pursue. This
doesn't mean I'm proposing a change in the identity, I believe the project
logo can live a life of its own.

The above tarball includes all the rendered common sizes + the source
Blender project file and Inkscape SVG sheet ("source", not to be
installed). I'm happy to provide the icon under the terms the project finds
acceptable to redistribute.
