Hi Richard, > I was wondering, how is the "Style" setting for export supposed to > work?
I'm the developer of this so I have at least one my usage to share :) This is simple, when I export to Picasa, local on disk or for printing I have different preset with different style applied. For example when printing I do add a small signature. When I export to picase I do add a small border... etc. This "presentation" cannot be set to the development stack as different media do you different presentation. > As far as I remember, this was added to dt before multiple > instances of development modules were implemented, so unsurprisingly, No, that was a coincidence! > a style that uses a development module that is already used with some > image will simply replace the settings in the image. Would be nice to have a way to add some more strength to any iop but indeed not possible at the moment. > It would be practical to have the possibility to have export styles be > treated as extra instances. Probably not trivial and will need some good design first to have a general framework to control overall effect of any iop.
