I never saw or heard about anything like that. When "more modules" is empty, 
do you see any modules in the right panel of darkroom at all? If not, are you 
positively sure that you are running the same binary in both cases?

The popup that you get when right clicking also allows to enter arbitrary 
values. In the next release it will also allow entering mathematical 
expressions like (2/5)^(1/2)+3. And more important: It will have a blinking 
cursor to show that you can type. But that's just cosmetics, the functionality 
to enter values is there in your version already.

Do you maybe click again after the popup is closed and that setting is under 
the cursor (or the reset button of the whitebalance module)? If that could be 
the case I would vote for adding a tiny timeout before mouse clicks change 
anything again. Software debouncing.
