Hi folks, As it was mentioned in the announcement that we need certain libraries to run future 1.4 versions, I took the rc1 tarball and tried to compile it just for fun. (I'm going well with 1.2.3 up to now...) Tobias Ellinghaus on the -users list gave me the advice to contact you here on it.
There is an "error 2" at 97 % of the build process, so something doesn't compile I'd guess. My system is a somewhat dusty Suse 12.1, so it's possible the error is caused by missing libraries, but it might as well be something else. Are you interested in solving this? Maybe you want some protocol? Just tell me what information you need.
