I download to and work photos on my desktop and after completion, use darktable to move them to an nfs drive on my server. Darktable appears to correctly update it's library.db with location keeps correct grouping. I have found film-strips at the original location but do not know if I err'd by moving the files outside darktable. I am still changing workflow due to program and equipment changes :^( -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Managing the Performance of Cloud-Based Applications Take advantage of what the Cloud has to offer - Avoid Common Pitfalls.
