Still the profiles seem to work adquate and interpolation should work according to Pacal de Bruijn. I do think manual tweaking the fitting parameters might give even better curves. But my time is limited. With you guys having newer thoughts on raw denoising together with even better and faster demosiac algorithms ;-) Denoising profile might get some useful improvements and fixes. Like the green spikes with wavelet transforms and more such stuff.
