My comment is about poor support of gtk programs under KDE.

I also was a KDE user for a long time. Then I noticed something is broken with 
the program I use a lot. I decided that I need Rawtherapee more than KDE. Plus 
there were so much functionality in KDE that I simply never used. So I switched 
to Mate which is lighter and more reliable.

This was some time ago, maybe now they fixed it?
