Hi, I usually manage my photos with Bridge CS5, but to get around some annoyances there I start using Darktable.
When I rate my images in Bridge the rating does not appear in Darktable, so to filter images easily I normally would have to do it again there. I found out that Darktable uses other XMP sidecar files than Bridge: Bridge sidecar files have the naming scheme filename.xmp, while Darktable uses filename.ext.xmp. Is there in general no XMP standard naming scheme and in particular a way to feed Darktable with these other XMP files?
