Thanks for this hint. I tried it out and indeed the paramater helps to minimize 
the problem. But even with a value of 600 the issue still occurs lets say 3-4 
times in 300 pictures. At least DT recovers now when it occurs and proceeds 
with full speed afterwards. 

For me the question remains what the "best" value would be for me. The graphics 
card has 2 GB of memory. Would it make sense to just set opencl_memory_headroom 
to 1000 or even 1500?
