The only thing I notice is that if I crop a landscape image into portrait
mode and leave that photo, when I return to make more adjustments and
enable the crop mode, the entire image is presented in "landscape" mode
rather than returning to the previous selection/edit.  Very unsettling and
wasteful of my time.  But this is probably unrelated to nvidia driver. 
Will post again under different subject.
