Hello Jo, it was just this week again where I was complaining to myself about the slow thumbnail build up of DT. From that point of view I give you a big thumb up for your proposal. Any speed up in this area is highly appreciated.
Regarding the cache size of 4 GB thumbnails for 20k pictures: It would be nice if one could set a maximum value for this cache.
